Some realworld shots of three refreshing watches seen in Basel 2008
Apr 06, 2008,13:05 PM
Hi
Just returned from Basel and thought I could share some (quick and dirty) realworld shots of three not so usual watches. Apart from their creative approach they have nothing much in common, varying (dramatically) in prices, functions, formats and places of birth. I just found them refreshing. Here we go:
1. The only digital watch I would wear—and with pleasure: De Grisogono Meccanico dG
2. And a close-up shot of the dial
3. The ingenious new Seiko Spring Drive chronograph
4. And finally, something to chill out after all this gadgetry: Two beautiful variants of the elegant Pita 9.2
I hope you enjoyed my choices. Thanks for looking!
Valentin

Thanks Valentin...

Hi Kong, the piece shown here was in a glass

cabinet and there were no other pieces available for the public. I can only say that it's a huge and fat watch. However, due to its nicely curved shape it could still look good on the wrist. Cheers, Valentin
Thanks Valentin,

I like the watches you selected to show. Of course the Di Grisogono is my absolute favorite for this year, but the revival of the Seiko Bullhead is also more than excellent Thanx for sharing!
