Both Patek and JLC don't sell parts...
Feb 21, 2024,15:12 PM
so if you want good service, they will be the only way to go. Part of the reason is that they both save tools to ensure future servicing. If you want the best, you let the best take care of their products and not some watchmaker that has never worked on such a complication.

Never thought about a Duometre because I know it is too large for me at the current size
An amazing piece of kit but….
By: E in PA : February 14th, 2024-21:08
I would be worried that anyone except JLC would be able to service it in 20-30 years. And JLC and monopoly pricing don’t go well. When I had vintage JLC the bi annual upkeep was an absolute killer. That’s what pushed me ultimately to sell my London Editio...
Yep.

Biannual - twice a year
By: TeutonicCarFan : February 15th, 2024-00:06
Seems excessive. Even every other year seems a lot for a modern watch. I have service both JLC and VC... the VC is more. Love the tradionelle though!
My mistake

Finally!

It's weird to see the movement with a rhodium finish instead of the classic maillechort Now imagine a steel duometre, or even better... a titanium one. That would be incredible.
:-)))

Max one arm.
By: patrick_y : February 15th, 2024-17:19
At maximum, it can only cost 1 arm, since they need you to have another arm to wear the watch! But it can cost 2 legs!
Ha! :)
By: amanico : February 17th, 2024-09:44
But....
By: Sebi : February 16th, 2024-15:43

ROFLMAO!
By: amanico : February 17th, 2024-18:32
A Duometre is a piece of HH art
By: Alfihar : February 20th, 2024-05:01
That’s why a screw cost 1800€… with a pouch offered, not a silicone one but a travel pouch even if the Duo was not an UTT 😂😂😂
Too much!
By: patrick_y : March 8th, 2024-17:39
What are they thinking?
