i have waited for at least 1-2 years for every single watch i own, and got used to it in these 20-30 years... that's the joy, brodda... i won't be interested in any watches which are readily avaialble or in display windows of the ADs... VERY upset with panerai, will not order a panerai again.
when PAM 26 released, i wanted one.... so i called a very large AD and placed a deposit the AD spoke to panerai and they said their first 26 would come august... august comes, call AD.. ad calls panerai... they say november november comes, call AD.. ad ca...

And I don't see why you would receive a different treatment from Panerai... You're not the only one ot wait for your 26, and if all the guys should have to make a post for this reason, my friend, PPRO would be the Secretary of Panerai Firenze or Neuchatel...

I hate to poor salt in the wound, but hang in there buddy they are coming. In my case I did not even order the piece, I called my AD to see how my sales persons thanksgiving was and he asked me if I had any interest. Its a cool piece but I would not lose ...

Panerai has the reputation of delayed releases IMO
Anytime they say end of year, that probably means summer of next year. So since I was told at SIHH 2008 the target date of the PAM26 was June 2008, that means the PAM26 would realistically be delivered sometime in December 2008. And this holds true since ...

why do you blame Panerai and not your AD???
Perhaps (and I'm just saying), your AD gave 'your' watch to another client. Wouldn't be the first time I saw that. Or, as someone else said, I would blame them for giving you wrong information. From what I understand, no AD knows what's coming when until ...
