Thanks for the heads up. These last minute decisions to detour from business meetings is a result of too much enthusiasm and too little planning... sigh... sounds like its more sensible to stay in Zurich then... though somewhat less convenient. Thanks again. ed

I figured as much, but my travel agent told me today that they were confident of getting a room, but can only confirm tomorrow. So fingers crossed... At the worst, I'll get a room in Zurich and take a train in, or as you mentioned, some outlying part of the city and tram in. btw, a little OT, there'

Hi Andrew and Rob, I'm looking forward to being in the thick of things, and certainly will touch base with both of you on Sat/Sun. Thanks for advice also. I'm still hoping to get a room at the Swissotel La Plaza, which I understand to be just next to Baselworld, so I think I can avoid the traffic, e
