Beat Haldimann at Basel 2009
It was a great pleasure for me to meet Mr Beat Haldimann because we all know the special relationships here at The PuristS we have with him... and because he produces some of the most fascinating watches of the industry.
The collection is based upon 2 models : the H1 with a Flying Central Tourbillon and the H2 with a Resonance Tourbillon (the resonance coupling spring which can be seen right in the center of the watch connects the two hairpsrings). Both watches have a 39mm case.
Of course, they are not novelties but it has been for me one of the best moments of the fair.
Let's start with this H2 because it's for me a true dreamwatch, a joy for our eyes. There is something magic watching it working.

The latest news is the project of the H8 Flying Sculptura, a "watch" which doesn't tell the time... A bit strange from Mr Haldimann to follow the steps of Romain Jérome...
I would like to thank a lot Mr Haldimann and his spouse for the translation in french ! It was a big pleasure for me to meet them.
