Cabestan (J-F.Ruchonnet) at Basel 2009

I must confess I was not very optimistic about this project a few years ago. But since Eric Coudray joined the team, things have changed and now the watch works without any problem and it is produced on a reliable way.

I was not very convinced by the design but I changed my mind. I really think it works perfectly. I wore the Cabestan with pleasure, having the feeling to get an unique watch on my wrist.

So let's go with this very special and fascinating vertical Tourbillon:

On the wrist, have you ever seen something similar ? I really appreciated to wear it.

You will see better the architecture of the caliber with the following pics. There are more than 1350 components including the 450 links of the chain. The frequency is 3hz and the power reserve 3 days.

I would like to thank Jean-François Ruchonnet for the presentation of the Cabestan and for the warm welcome.
