Automatic Tourbillon featuring a Perpetual Calendar with double coaxial retrograde hands.

In-house manufacture movement with automatic winding, BVL 465 caliber, 465 components. See-through Tourbillon with exclusive hanging bridge. 64-hour power reserve, 46 jewels, 21’600 vph (3 HZ). Diameter of 28.60 mm and thickness of 8.30 mm. Exclusive black gold finishing with hand-made “perlage”, chamfered edges and polished treatments. Hand-finished 18-ct gold rotor.

In-house manufactured 43 mm platinum case with unique construction featuring lugs on the case back to ensure greater resistance to shock. Monogrammed crown, anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal and transparent case back. Inhouse manufactured multi-level dial with “guilloché” and “opalin” treatments. Black oxidized and rhodium colour, hand-applied Roman numerals, faceted indexes and counters. Skeletonized hours and minutes with faceted hands. Black alligator strap with in-house manufactured platinum ardillon buckle.

The Tourbillon device limits the influence of gravity on the precision of the watch by mounting the escapement and regulation organ in a revolving cage that makes one revolution per minute, thus compensating for inaccuracies caused by the vertical position.

The Perpetual Calendar automatically adjusts the date to the length of the current month and also adjusts to leap years.











The BVL 465 caliber is an exclusive Multicomplication, developed and produced by Bulgari, that features a unique paring of complications: a see through Tourbillon and a Perpetual Calendar function with double coaxial retrograde display.

The design and development of this new Bulgari “haut de gamme” caliber took 5 years and required the contribution of 14 different specializations. Its production calls for the highest level of craftsmanship and precision from the Master Watchmakers who work for 3 months to execute the 8,370 delicate operations that go into the manufacturing, assembly, finishing, setting and control of the 465 components of this caliber. Bulgari’s meticulous attention to detail is exemplified in the range of refined finishings given to each of the components, such as “perlage”, “traits tirés”, hand chamfering, black gold and the vertical “dressé” of the personalized 18-ct gold rotor.
