Mechanical movement with automatic winding, B 89 caliber, in-house manufacture Date Rétrograde 150° module, 42-hour power reserve, 21 jewels, 28’800 vph (4 HZ). Embellished with circular and “soleil côtes de Genève”, “perlage” treatments, “diamantage” on all the edges and polished screw heads. The rotor is personalized with a circular “côtes de Genève” finishing. 42 mm 18-ct pink gold case with unique construction featuring lugs on the back to ensure greater resistance to shock and a highly refined alternation of polished and brushed surfaces. Monogrammed crown, anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal and transparent back.
Manufactured dial finished with “azuré”, “soleil” embossment and “opalin” treatments, hand-applied Roman numerals, faceted indexes and date counter. Skeletonized hours and minutes with faceted hands. Alligator strap with in-house manufactured 18-ct pink gold ardillon buckle.

The B 89 caliber is an automatic movement equipped with a 150° retrograde date module developed and produced by Bulgari.

The design and development of this new in-house manufacture module requires 15 specialized craftsmen to perform the 165 different operations needed for its production and assembly, which is done entirely by hand. Great attention has also been given in the selection of the 11 different finishings, including “soleil” and circular “côtes de Genève”, to establish a harmony with the unique design of the dial. Refined treatments like “perlage” and “diamantage” are applied to every component, even the smallest, such as the meticulously polished screw heads. Extensive quality controls are performed at each step in keeping with the strict technical parameters that ensure both the reliability and aesthetic perfection of every movement.
