Baselworld 2014: Blancpain, the collection of wristshots

As I previously said, Blancpain was one of the most active brands of Baselworld 2014.

Here is my collection of wristshots which will give you an idea of the wide range of novelties.

The new Villeret Tourbillon, a superb automatic Tourbillon with a power reserve of 12 days with a single barrel. But sorry, I'm not a fan of the large opening on the top of the dial.

The Villeret Carrousel Phase de Lune. It may sound strange but since the dial is more busy here, the opening is less disturbing. Do you notice the aesthetic difference between the Tourbillon (top) and the Carrousel (below)?

The Quantième Perpetuel is a very classic watch which offers a good legibility:

The Villeret 8 jours and its lovely enamel dial. I regret the presence of the date window...

But at the end, the biggest surprise was the Bathyscaphe Chronograph... it is not a surprise because it was a very expected watch. It is a surprise because it is powered by a new flybach chronograph movement which has a 5hz frequency! It is strange that Blancpain doesn't communicate a lot about this caliber.

Last watch of the selection is this lovely off-centered ladies' watch:

More to come later from the team!
