Count them!  3 New Pieces and a New Invention from Greubel Forsey in the Past Year and pre

Greubel Forsey did not disappoint at the Basel World Fair in 2009. One new form for the Quadruple, one new Invention Piece, a new Technique series debuting with the 30 degree Double Tourbillon. Also in the wings, and on display, is a sixth invention piece; with no tourbillon! With their emphasis geared on invention, innovation, and experimentation, the small firm of Greubel Forsey appear to be more productive in producing new models than other larger brands.

In a dark corner of the suitably named Hall of Emotions, Greubel Forsey had their stand beside the AHCI exhibitors. A cave of wonders presided over by Robert and Stephen. Unfortunately I missed Robert, but Stephen graciously let me play with the new offerings for this year. The photos below are the live photos of the pieces, however, because of the lighting, and the fact that I was hand holding the camera without the benefit of a light tent or natural lighting, the pictures leave a little to be desired. I am hoping that this does not detract from the stunning watches. It is a fault of the photographer.

Stephen looking dapper and kindly taking the time to introduce and describe the new watches and inventions.
