Sorry for the late response....

aaronm is right on all aspects.....the finishing and I will add: the balance wheel, which is the real givewaway here.

As you stated, its very interesting on the inside and still a repeater nevertheless.   These early Breguet period "copies" actually

have a small following believe it or not and appear at christies and sothebys occasionally.

I will say it again though.....the real value here is the story.  Its a great story and really makes you wonder if the Kaiser knew it was a copy when he

purchased or received as a gift.  I doubt they had GTG at the local restaurant......but who knows!

A very little. If I push the crown down it moves an arm and some of the smaller gears start to spin but it only lasts a few seconds.
