Have they seen the pre-owned price of JLC in the market? Its like 50-60% off the retail price, the moment you walk out the store. Just like IWC...but JLC is more boring IMHO.
What make me laugh is...when i go to their website, lots of pieces are labeled "exclusivity" or "boutique edition", with higher price than those without labels. But those "exclusive " pieces are nothing but same watch with different dial colour. Same movement, sama case, and not limited edition. What the h**l is this? A cheap way to create hype?
So, JLC expect customers in a country without JLC boutique, like in my country, to fly abroad hundreds miles just to buy a regular edition watch in boutique, when they can just sell it through my AD. They will get the same money from me, whether i buy from AD or Boutique (assume both have no discount). Why they force me to spend extra hundreds dollars, time and energy to buy a regular watch. They want me to help them create the hype for granted?? Who do they think they are?
The way JLC priced their watch and the way the sell is just ridiculous.
