big is beautiful
By: ocarra : March 5th, 2010-11:37
Personally, I think its a beauty - I love the bezel and the dial as well, however, my economy limits me in this case as in many others - I will have to continue to enjoy this magnificent piece of history only in images and historybooks. As for the bezel d...

My point exactly, frankly at 60mm i thought it was a little small! Why not make it 77mm! Hahah, anyways thank you and you will get to see my watch here as with everyone as soon as it comes! Stephen

Please make this watch in a size that I can wear so I can justify buying it. This is an amazing piece of fine art. Anything under 50mm and I'm in. Bill
Way....

too big for me..... cheers
Not in my list BUT
By: amanico : March 5th, 2010-14:35
If I owned a 127, a Cali, or a 21 / 232, I would have considered it, as well as the Mare, to close a collection of Historical pieces... In he contrary, nooo way ... Too big and really unwearable. Panerai, make it in 47 mm and I'm your man! Best, Nicolas
Not on my list either.
By: Davo : March 5th, 2010-14:47
I just can't pull that off on my wrist. As a desk clock tho, no problem.
See fellows?!
By: BluNotte : March 6th, 2010-06:43

LOL Asi
By: AnthonyTsai : March 6th, 2010-07:24
I still think you need a wrist the size of your foreman on the very left in the picture to be able to pull off the PAM341! - AT
Asi, a question.

Please don't consider this as casting any doubt on those Egizianos, but I have to ask: have they been refinished? I am amazed at the pristine condition of the cases. Did Egizianos actually make it into combat use?
Wow, a superb pair mate!
By: BluNotte : March 10th, 2010-05:19
Glad to see that you wore it at an event! Pairs superbly with the 217! Cheers Stephen

I Agree!!!
By: big daddy : March 10th, 2010-14:12
Graham, You are brutally honest but I agree with you. My wrist is over 7 inches and frankly my largest watch is 44.5 mm which is a Big Bang. It looks good on my wrist but I think I am at the limit. My personal opinion is that 40-44mm looks best to me and ...
No one can discourage me off this big daddy!
By: BluNotte : March 11th, 2010-05:07
Your opinions are much appreciated! But i put the order for this watch at 5pm the day it was released, last year! Guess my love wins it all! Stephen

I have not sought other's opinion, but then again, i don't intend to nor have i ever. As you should know, in this passion of ours, at the end of the day the person to really please is you and yourself, and that while you can try to seek the opinion of oth...
Stephen, sometimes it takes...
By: G99 : March 11th, 2010-05:43
Stephen, sometimes it takes a controversial question to get to the heart of things. you could have just ignored me, but full respect to you for coming back at me with such a comprehensive and heartfelt answer. best Graham
Prego Graham!
By: BluNotte : March 11th, 2010-05:58
I absolutely did not even feel a single animosity when i read your response, on the other hand, i felt that maybe you needed to hear things from my perspective, as to why the Egiziano is such an important piece to me. One thing that me and many others lov...
I'll skip it
By: Bruno.M1 : March 6th, 2010-11:22
I can get one but I won't take it thought about it ... but no I do have a big wrist but 60 mm is imo stupid. I only buy watches I can wear I don't want something to put in a safe. And 60 mm ?? Sorry but this is unwearable for EVERYBODY ! This message has ...
I like your straight talk, Graham...
By: luc00 : March 14th, 2010-04:52
It is interesting how personal the size perception is. Some years ago I felt the Monaco was a big watch but after a few more experiments, it was one of my smallest ones and I had to get used to the modest 44mm of my first Panerais and had a hard time seei...
