With all these posts on the new Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT, let's see the one which at the origin, The Mother of them all, the Rolex 6542.
Ok, now we see where Tudor borrowed the idea of the gilt insert and dial.
I also wonder if Tudor will take the risk to go for a Black Bay 54 version, with a smaller case ( 37 mm ) which will be even closer to the 6542...

while the Tudor looks good (at least from the pics) you can’t beat that 6542, it looks great. HAGWE

I am not usually a fan of gilt-dial Rolexes, generally always preferring their matte dial successors. But that one? Oh my, I love it!
